Gigabyte GA-EX58-Extreme LGA 1366 i7 Motherboard Review - Motherboards 75

We compared the EX58-Extreme against MSI’s top dog – the Eclipse Plus. We also threw in MSI Eclipse SLI, MSI X58 Platinum, and two of Gigabyte’s entry-level and enthusiast-level LGA 1366 boards – the GA-X58-UD3R and GA-X58-UD5. All six of these motherboards have identical chipsets (minus the NF200 in the Eclipse Plus), similar specs, and comparable features. It should be interesting to see the performance differences as well as power consumption results during our benchmarks.
