Packaging and included accessories
The Silverstone Raven 2 is shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box that’s covered in black and white graphics that showcase this case nicely. Silverstone does a great job of pointing out a lot of the case’s key features right on the front panel of the retail packaging. The back panel also has more information on the case’s specifications and features as well as another great shot of interior of the Raven 2.
The interior of the retail packaging shows how the case was secured during shipping. Silverstone used two large molded foam blocks and a large cloth-like bag to cover and secure the Raven 2 so it arrived in one piece.
Silverstone went out of its way to include several useful accessories, including large zip ties, 3.5″ drive adapters, and radiator brackets.
They also added a solid state drive mounting kit and molex adapter to power three more fans in the case.
To round out the included accessories, Silverstone added a 3.5″ drive plate to use those devices in a 5.25″ optical bay and other items like a user manual, power supply strap (we’ll talk about this more later), and various screws and standoffs to mount the motherboard, hard drives, and other components. All in all, these accessories are more than enough to add watercooling components, SSDs, and even 3.5″ devices like fan controllers and memory card readers.
