“We here at GamingHeaven can remember back to far flung days when the original Aliens Versus Predator was a reason to purchase the largely forgotten Atari Jaguar. Since then each version has looked to ramp up the atmosphere, authenticity and action of a crossover franchise that is for many a mash-up of 80s nostalgia taken to a glorious extreme.”Here is some more Tech News from around the web:

A Xenomorph, a Predator and a Colonial Marine walk into a bar …
It is hard to keep track of just how many incarnations of Aliens Versus Predator there has been, from the days of the stand up arcades to the Atari Jaguar version that Gaming Heaven mentions straight through to the more recent PC versions, but most gamers and movie fans still get a chill when they hear the distinctive ping of that motion sensor. In the latest version, the demo of which is available on Steam, all of your favourite races return; the soft and squishy marine, the vertigo inducing Xenomorph and the tank like Predator. The full game has yet to arrive so grab a look at the demo or just download it and try out the newly patched match making multiplayer system.
