This rendering benchmark based off of the Cinema 4D engine is a terrific indicator for multi-threaded processing.
Handbrake
Known mainly for its DVD re-encoding prowess, our test uses the Handbrake command line interface.
Handling DVD encoding and transcoding is a clear staple of a solid micro ATX motherboard and the P55M-UD4 took the top score in this benchmark above. In Cinebench, it fell behind slightly, but the performance differences should be minimal to the consumer. Overall, this board should be more than adequate to handle all of the media and rendering operations users will need it to performance as a high-end HTPC.
