PCMark Vantage and 3DMark 06
Using PC Mark Vantage we will get a overall picture of how the Asus Eee1201N handles many common tasks such as video playback, image editing, and web browsing. PCMark gives a standardized score which you can use to compare to other systems.
Following the trend in previous tests, the Eee 1201N again comes out on top thanks to a more powerful configuration.
Now let’s take a look at 3DMark. I had attempted to run 3DMark Vantage, but on both systems the benchmark would crash partway through. So here we are looking at the much older 3DMark 06.
These results are quite poor in general for both systems. However from experience, the Asus Eee 1201N did manage to perform reasonably well on older games. See my gaming examination earlier in this article.
