The Enermax Modu87+ 500W is so named because this PSU is rated to 87-92% efficiency, otherwise known as an 80+ Gold rating. The PSU its self is modular and sports a nice array of cables for a 500W model, the 140mm fan should keep it relatively quiet as well. If you are building a multi GPU rig, or are planning on picking up a GTX480 when they become available then this PSU is not quite up to the task, you should look in the 600W range as a minimum. For those not going that route, drop by Pure Overclock for a look at a decent contender in this power range.
