Gigabyte’s slip is to the gain of anyone wondering about 6 core AMD CPUs
The quick eyes at The Inquirer spotted a nice tidbit of information released by Gigabyte accidentally. They revealed the clock speeds of two of AMD’s upcoming 6 core CPUs in a BIOS update that were enough to determine the clock speeds with the help of the leaked CPU list. Unfortunately what was not leaked were MRSPs for the CPUs so the pricing is still a bit of a mystery. We can be sure that it will be less than the $999 Intel is charging for the Core i7 980X.
