MAINGEAR Computers, the makers of custom desktop and notebook PCs, is announcing a new 15.6″ notebook called the mX-L15. The mX-L15 features the latest Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, ATI Radeon Mobility 4570 with 512MB of RAM, and up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM.
MAINGEAR, being a customizable outfit, allows you to choose from a variety of options including traditional or solid-state drives, a 1366×768 or 1600×900 screen, RAM, and processor model. They also have what they call “Angelic Service” which is worth looking into if you’ve ever been stuck in CSR hell when trying to get your system serviced.
It isn’t the thinnest 15″ notebook out there (it’s 1.5″ closed), but it could be the most configurable enthusiast notebook you can buy. The base system starts at $999 and you can customize the parts to fit your needs and budget. You can configure and order the MAINGEAR mX-L 15 today.
