The results in Resident Evil 5 are also impressive as the GTX 480 can nearly keep up with the HD 5970 and leaves the HD 5870 behind by as much as 28% at 1920×1200.

The GTX 470 and the HD 5870 trade blows here though the AMD card gets the lead here at the highest resolution.  This is another case where the new GTX 470 is just about as fast as the much older GTX 285 from NVIDIA’s previous generation.
