This is as much a test of the driver as it is the hardware since we are stressing its ability to scale on the CPU but AMD’s V8800 performs well once again. In Catia and Proe the AMD FirePro card is able to scale well enough to overtake any potential threat the NVIDIA offering once had. However, we see that in our SW test the FirePro loses badly to NVIDIA’s FX 4800 when we run on either two or four threads.

Thanks for this article on ‘AMD FirePro V8800 Review.’ It is good to know that AMD has released the first in a range of new professional graphics cards using the Evergreen GPU – the AMD FirePro V8800 2GB. Those who play games will find the specifications of it very familiar. The features such as Cypress GPU, 1600 stream processors and 825 MHz clock speed would be recognized easily by gamers. As I like checking out what type of sites are doing well, I found out that Groupon and its clone sites are causing hits around the globe.
