Is a netbook from Viewsonic worth it?
Running out and buying an LCD monitor with a Viewsonic name on it certainly makes sense, but what about a netbook? The 13.3-inch ViewBook Pro is exactly that, with a Core2 Duo SU7300 inside along with 2GB of DDR2 and an Intel 4 Series Express onboard GPU. It comes with two batteries, which can be used together to bring the battery life under full load from 2h39m to 4h20m, fairly respectable usage. The only major problem seems to be the netbooks unavailability, not even the Viewsonic page will list a retailer or price. Drop by Techware Labs for a preview of what Viewsonic’s netbooks will be like.
