“Gateway is one of the largest computer makers in the world. The company makes all manner of notebook and desktop machines ranging from desktops and gaming rigs to netbooks and notebook computers. The Gateway NV7901u is the biggest and most power packed machine from Gateway I have tested. The best news about the Gateway NV7901u is that it offers lots of performance at a bargain price tag. If you want a powerful notebook with a big screen and you don’t mind if it’s heavy, the Gateway NV7901u might be perfect. Check out the rest of the Gateway NV7901u review for all of the details.”

Serious mobile power if you don’t mind the weight

Not everyone is satisfied with a 13.1″ screen, no matter how sleek the form factor it is attached to is. For serious mobile viewing satisfaction something like the Gateway NV7901u with a 17.3″ 1600 x 900 screen seems more appropriate. There is of course a trade off as it weighs 7.4lbs and will probably be quite noticeable after carrying for a while. Inside is a Core i5 430M and 4GB of DDR-3 1066, a full 1GB of which is dedicated to a Radeon Mobility 5650. Drop by TweakTown for a look.
