Don’t let the release of the Phenom II X6 1090T overshadow AMD’s other big new for today, the release of the enthusiast level 890FX chipset and several motherboards that use it.  There is some rather big news from this chipset as it is fully PCIe 2.0 compliant, in fact it has 42 PCI-E 2.0 lanes and 11 engines.
