Thermaltake’s honest Toughpower XT 775W
When you see an 800W rating on a PSU, the chances that the PSU can actually manage 800W for anything but a brief spike in drain is fairly small. Thermaltake seems to have chosen honesty, this PSU is rated at a 768W peak on the 12V rail, just a hair under what the PSU is rated for. The efficiency stays nicely above 80% although there was some concern about the heat that it produced in certain conditions when under a full load.
