A Detailed Look

The steel enclosure of the Thermaltake Toughpower XT Series 775W power supply features a gray/brown finish and measures 160mm (6.3”) long, so it should fit into most cases. The XT 775W PSU uses a single 140mm fan on the bottom for cooling. The fan speed is automatically controlled by the internal component temperature (speeds up as the combined load and temperature increases). The fan will also keep running for about 30 seconds after the PC is shut down for a little extra system cooling.

The backside panel includes a power receptacle and On-Off switch. The open grill structure on the back allows air to exhaust out of the power supply with minimal restriction and turbulence.

The XT Series 775W PSU comes with a good assortment of modular cables, which are covered with black plastic mesh sleeving. The ATX 24-pin motherboard connector is the only fixed cable.

Fixed Cables:
• (1) ATX 20/24-pin
• (1) ATX12V/EPS12V 4-pin and 8-pin
Modular Cables:
• (2) PCI Express 6-pin
• (2) PCI Express 8-pin
• (6) Peripheral Molex
• (1) Peripheral FDD
• (8) Serial ATA

While enjoying the comfort of being with family you may feel annoyed with the power failure. This is when a power inverter can prove to be of immense help. This type of back up power inverter draws power out of a battery it is attached to, and then converts the energy into AC power which is available for the function of any electronic device.
