BIOS Features
Main Menu
We flashed the BIOS on the A330ION to the latest one available on ASRock’s website, which is the P1.30 as of May 19, 2010. This BIOS is pretty advanced considering its for a mini ITX board. ASRock even threw in some CPU overclocking options that we will evaluate later in the review.
OC Tweaker Menu (contains overclocking options for CPU, DRAM, and ION GPU)
Overclock Mode Options (range from 1.7 to 2.1GHz)
DRAM Frequency Options (from 800 to 1066MHz)
Onboard GPU Core, Shader Clock Options (Core clock can be maxed out at 600MHz while the shader clock can be increased to 1350MHz.)
VCore (CPU) Voltage Options (range from 1.113 to 1.232 volts)
DRAM Voltage Options (range from 1.51 to 1.978 volts)
ION Chipset Voltage Options (from 1.004 to 1.173 volts)
Preset Options (Users can save up to three stable overclocked settings as “profiles” through the BIOS. Very handy.)
Advanced Settings Menu (includes configuration options for SATA, USB, and ION chipset)
CPU Configuration Sub-Menu (CPU thermal throttling and hyper threading is managed in this section.)
H/W Monitor Menu (Dashboard for all CPU and chipset temps as well as CPU and chassis fan speeds. Users can also monitor CPU voltages in realtime in this section.)
