This rendering benchmark based off of the Cinema 4D engine is a terrific indicator for multi-threaded processing.
Handbrake
Known mainly for its DVD re-encoding prowess, our test uses the Handbrake command line interface.
Again, the higher-end 9300-ITX board took the best scores by a large margin, but you have to give some credit to the A330ION’s overall performance for an integrated Atom and ION combo platform. The key here is that the board does have the capabilities of compressing DVDs as well as handle multi-threaded applications. You could easily run Photoshop and other multi-threaded apps, but the CPU definitely hinders this board’s overall performance.
