2D Performance – L4D2 and Metro 2033
Sorry, we didn’t have settings shots or in-game screen shots for this game, but if you don’t know about the Left 4 Dead series of titles, what the hell is wrong with you?  Left 4 Dead 2 takes the great squad-based gameplay of the first title and expands the game somewhat with new graphical features, weapons etc.  The first Left 4 Dead as a GREAT title for Eyefinity configurations so what about the sequel?

The GTX 470s in SLI and the HD 5970 are running neck and neck though as we will see in the later pages, the SLI GTX 470s are noticeably cheaper.

Metro 2033 (DirectX 11)


The latest addition to our gaming benchmark suite, Metro 2033 is one of the best looking PC games in years.  By utilizing some advanced DX11 features as well as impressively high-quality shading routines this title pushes our graphics in way we have seen since the first days of Crysis.

We ran Metro 2033 with Advance DOF disabled because it brought all of the cards but the GTX 480 to an unplayable state.

Metro 2033 continues to be a dominating gaming experience for PCs but the GTX 470s are the best performing surround gaming configuration we tested here!
