Final Thoughts and Conclusions
The Kingwin Lazer Gold Series LZG-1000 PSU with Crystal Cube modular cable management delivered good voltage regulation (especially on the important +12V rails) with relatively clean outputs and very good efficiency. The LZG-1000 PSU is quiet at low to mid power levels, includes a good assortment of both fixed and modular cables/connectors, and features a blue LED fan for added visual impact. Overall the LZG-1000 performed very well. I would like to see Kingwin extend the Lazer Gold Series warranty beyond 3-years however.
The Kingwin LZG-1000 PSU is currently available and typically sells for around $220 USD.

Strengths:
• 1,000W continuous DC output (up to 40°)
• Very good efficiency (meets 80Plus Gold standards)
• Good voltage regulation, especially on the +12V output
• Quiet at all but the highest power levels
• Single +12V output can deliver up to 83A (996W)
• Six PCI-E connectors can support multiple high-end graphic adapters
• Active PFC with universal AC input
• 140mm Cooling fan with blue LEDs
Weaknesses:
• A little more AC ripple on the DC outputs than we would like to see
• Only a 3-year warranty
