The GeForce GTX 460 768MB Specifications
The GeForce GTX 460 1GB Specifications
For our testing today we are going to be pitting the new GF104 cards against another NVIDIA and AMD option. Because the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 465 is basically sent out to pasture (whatever is in the channel is all that will be left!) we are going to see how the GTX 470 compares to the GTX 460 as it will be the next closest cost Fermi-based product. As for our AMD comparison, the obvious competitor is the Radeon HD 5830 1GB card that is currently selling for $199; right in line with the $199 and $229 prices of the two GTX 460 models.
