Batman: Arkham Asylum (DirectX 10)

One of the best received gaming titles on both console and PC for 2009, Batman: Arkham Asylum is an impressive game both visually and in terms of design.

One interesting note: Batman (personally) doesn’t allow setting AA levels in-game for AMD graphics card but DOES for NVIDIA GPUs.  We instead enabled AA in the AMD Catalyst Control Panel where noted.

The AMD HD 5830 gets a beat down here thanks in large part to the AMD/NVIDIA scuffle around the antialiasing of the Batman engine but even looking at the NVIDIA only results are interesting.  The GTX 470 is definitely the pack leader but the 1GB model of the GTX 460 is relatively close.  The difference between the 1GB/768MB models is about 13% – noticeable at the higher resolutions.
