Packaging

The retail packaging for the Psyko 5.1 headphones is stellar and really showcases the unique design and structure of these headphones. I like that they didn’t clutter the front panel with gaudy graphics either. They put the focus where it should be — on the unique design and technology that the Psyko 5.1 headphones offers.

The back panel discusses the WaveGuide technology that puts these headphones into a class of their own. They also show how they integrated the five speakers in the bridge of the headset with the subwoofers in the cans and the external amp that users can configure for better directional sound.

The inner packaging works great for ensuring the headset and additional components don’t get damaged during shipping. But, we would have like a hard-shell case to transport these headphones to LAN parties and other gaming events. Psyko includes the headset, amp, boom mic, user manual, and AC adapter to round out the entire bundle.

The last items Psyko included with the headset was an owner’s manual and AC adapter to power the amp. I wish they could have had a few more accessories to help make these headphones more of a bargain for consumers.
