Palit GeForce GTX 460 1GB Sonic Platinum Review - Rivaling the GTX 470 - Graphics Cards 91
GPU-Z shows our Palit card running at 800 MHz core, 1000 MHz memory and 1600 MHz shader speeds

We have looked at a few other GTX 460 cards but this is easily the highest clocked model we have tested yet.  The Galaxy GTX 460 1GB SC model was running at 700 MHz core speed and 1400 MHz shader speed – obviously we expect this Palit model to take home basically all of our performance benchmarks.  For our comparisons we will be looking at how the Palit Sonic Platinum model compares to the reference GTX 460 as well as the GeForce GTX 470 – I think you’ll be surprised how that turns out.  Finally, we have included the Radeon HD 5830 in the mix as it continues to be the most appropriately priced competition from AMD.
