One of the best received gaming titles on both console and PC for 2009, Batman: Arkham Asylum is an impressive game both visually and in terms of design.

One interesting note: Batman (personally) doesn’t allow setting AA levels in-game for AMD graphics card but DOES for NVIDIA GPUs. We instead enabled AA in the AMD Catalyst Control Panel where noted.
Well that’s interesting – the Palit GTX 460 Sonic Platinum is just about as fast as the GTX 470 1.25GB reference card we are comparing it to here though it comes in at about $50 less based on the current pricing structure out there. Obviously this means that the reference clocked GTX 460 doesn’t stand a chance and at 1920×1200 we see the Palit card offer a very noticeable 16% average frame rate improvement.
