Results- SiSoft 2010 and HD Tach Hard DriveSandra 2010 SP2
This benchmark is used to make sure that the boards are running the CPU at the desired speed, and for performance consistency. It also explores memory performance and SATA performance.
All three of the boards compare well to each other in pure CPU speed (no clock shenanigans going on). The Asus board ekes out a win in the memory department, and the SATA 6G performance slightly edges out the competition.
HD Tach – HD
This benchmark covers some of the more basic functions of a drive when it comes to reads.
The Asus board seems to have a slight edge in its SATA 6G implementation, especially with burst.
