Case Appeals AVZ Test Bench Review - Cases and Cooling 38

Our custom AVZ case arrived in a large Fedex box that looks like it had a rough trip from the west coast to Texas. There were a couple gouges and lots of bent corners. Let’s hope everything looks good inside.

The inner packaging was a combination of thin layers of foam and air cushions to ensure all the acrylic pieces were intact before and after shipping.

We pulled the chassis out and everything looked okay at first. Then we noticed a huge crack in the acrylic base that stretched from the front left corner of the case to the back by the power supply. The entire piece was wrapped to ensure it wasn’t scratched during shipping too.

Here’s a quick pic of the back of the case where you can see the large crack in the acrylic base. We informed Steve at Case Appeals and he shipped us out a new base quickly so we could have this case ready for Quakecon.

Here’s a side view of the wrapping and to showcase the graphics designed by yours truly. They did a good job of printing and mounting the graphics to the side and top panels.
