The IFA electronics show in Berlin is the hotspot to get wind of the newest gadgets soon to be released upon the world and one of the more popular pieces of tech to be promoting are tablets.  Samsung announced the 7″ Galaxy Tab, Toshiba the Folio 100 and Archos unveiled three small Android based multimedia players and two tablets.  The releases offer a mixed bag of sizes and as Digital Trends is quick to point out they face an uphill battle trying to take market share from Apple.

“At the IFA show this week in Berlin, Samsung announced its 7-inch Galaxy Tab, and Toshiba its Folio 100 (which won’t be coming to the U.S. for a while, if at all). Back in the U.S., Archos unveiled not one but five tablets – actually three small Android multimedia players and two tablets, with 7- and 10.1-inch screens.”
