Retail Packaging
We received our PC-T1R review sample direct from Taiwan in the retail packaging shown above. The graphics are pretty dull compared to other PC case packaging I’ve seen, but they did include a nice studio photo of the test bench completely assembled. They also added a smaller photo with a mini ITX system installed in the test bench to show consumers how it can look when they add their own hardware.
The back panel of the retail packaging includes another photo of a mini ITX system installed on the PC-T1R test bench. There are also three smaller photos showcasing a couple more features on the unit itself. They also added some technical specifications on the unique in a couple different languages to serve customers around the globe.
We opened the box to see a well organized layout of parts and a user manual. All the parts are individually wrapped and the left and right sides of the box are secured with a couple thin layers of foam.
Here’s a quick shot of all the parts laid out on our photo studio background. It’s a pretty simple setup as far as test benches are concerned, but I have to commend Lian Li on how well they organized the pieces and kept the screws and cable management bracket separate. They also added a detailed user manual that is written in multiple languages.
Here’s a quick shot of the screws, cable management bracket, and LED lights that are used for the power and reset LEDs. The LEDs are red and used as the “eyes” of the spider.
