Here is the case of that 30% improvement in the GTX 580 over the GTX 480 – kind of disappointing that it is only seen in the synthetic 3DMark Vantage testing. 


We always see good scaling in SLI configurations in 3DMark Vantage and this is no exception – the GTX 580s are as much as 78% faster than the single card solution.  And, again, we see the GTX 460s putting up a really good fight against the single GTX 580.
