DigiTimes had the chance to ask AMD’s CEO, Dirk Meyer, a few questions about the near future plans of AMD.  He seemed less than optimistic about the ultra mobile market, with no interest in the already overcrowded smartphone market, little interest in tablet technology until the market starts to sell below the $300 mark and little faith that netbooks will survive without more processing power being made available without increasing their size.  Click on through to read his thoughts on the GlobalFoundries and the new AMD APU.
