Unigine Heaven Test Settings
Though synthetic in nature, Unigine Heaven shows us that the shading power of the GTX 570 just barely outpaces the performance of the GeForce GTX 480 while the GTX 580 keeps a 16% performance lead at the highest tessellation levels. The AMD Radeon HD 5870 2GB card is not keeping up even with tessellation disabled and the gap only widens with it turned on.
I’m surprised by the heat
I’m surprised by the heat consumption. I wonder how that would be effected through virtualization. You can run it through this Power Consumption Calculator
