The newest NexStar dual bay HDD dock offers an incredibly handy and quick way to access your data. It can handle 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives so you will have no serious compatibility problems to deal with and with the USB 3.0 interface you aren’t going to have to wait very long watching the blue bar slowly fill as your transfer slowly goes. Tweaknews liked the look as well as the performance but do warn you to turn off the dock when it is not in use as your drives will get quite warm.
"Vantec has been on a roll lately with their NexStar line of storage products, and their USB 3.0 dual bay HDD dock is no exception. What stands out with this unit is the ability to access two hard drives simultaneously – something that is handy for all types of buyers ranging from the casual home PC user to network admins who need a quick way to access data on a hard drive."
