“Zalman has just released a new power supply line, the HP Plus, featuring two internal heatpipes and modular cabling system. Currently only two models are available, 850 W and 1,000 W, both with 80 Plus Silver certification. Although they are not selling them yet, Zalman has already got 80 Plus Bronze certification for the 500 W, 600 W, and 700 W models, so they will be releasing these models in the near future. Let’s see if the 850 W model is a good buy.”Here are some more Cases & Cooling reviews from around the web:

Zalman’s 850W PSU sports heatpipes
With more powerful PSUs becoming commonplace, it was only a matter of time before they started benefiting from recent cooling techniques like heatpipes. Zalman’s ZM850-HP Plus sports two of them inside its shell to help keep the heatdown. Unfortunately that was about the only thing that Hardware Secrets liked about the PSU, they found the efficiency to be less than advertised as well as receiving some worrying results from the 3.3V rail.
