“Crytek has been alerted that an early incomplete, unfinished build of Crysis 2 has appeared on Torrent sites. Crytek and EA are deeply disappointed by the news. We encourage fans to support the game and the development team by waiting and purchasing the final, polished game on March 22. Crysis 2 is still in development and promises to be the ultimate action blockbuster as the series’ signature Nanosuit lets you be the weapon as you defend NYC from an alien invasion. Piracy continues to damage the PC packaged goods market and the PC development community.”Here is some more Tech News from around the web:

Did you know Crysis 2 is part of the “PC packaged goods market”
If you’ve had your head under a rock for this week, then you might not have heard that a version of Crysis 2 is available on torrent sites. While not a finished version it should certainly give you more satisfaction than a YouTube video … not that downloading files of ill repute is condoned here at PC Perspective. The quote posted on HEXUS does indeed mirror the feelings of many a devoted PC gamer, “if you would have stayed faithfull to your original fans, and release a pc demo, instead of xbox360 demo first! (jumping onto the console money making bandwagon!) shame on you EA…”.
