The price difference is minimal, seeing HD6950 1GB models at $255 with the full 2GB model costing a mere $22 more. More important is the performance delta between these cards, which is exactly what [H]ard|OCP investigated. What they saw is not unexpected, if you game at 1920×1200 or lower, and are on a budget, get the 1GB version.
