The iPad had the pleasure of being the only mass produced product of its particular species for a while, but that time is up and its particular niche is now home to several competitive products.  RIM, Samsung and others have hit the scene and the newest comes from HP in the form of the TouchPad.  A quick run down of the pertinent stats was provided by Think Computers; 1.6lbs, 24cm (9.45″) x 19cm (7.48″) x 1.4cm (0.54″) with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon dual-core APQ8060 CPU, 1GB of RAM with a 9.7-inch display @ 1024 x 768.
