“Raidmax touts its new RX-1000AE as being a PSU that is “environmentally friendly.” Given the fact that it boasts an 80 Plus Gold Certified rating, it is poised to supply us with some of the best efficiency levels we have ever seen out of PSU, much less one that hits the 1 kilowatt mark.”Here are some more Cases & Cooling reviews from around the web:

The Raidmax RX-1000AE PSU, not the best but not the most expensive
The Raidmax RX-1000AE 1000W Power Supply sports an incredible 80+ Gold efficiency rating, something impressive on a PSU of half the strength of this kilowatt class PSU. Also impressive is the bucket it uses as a case, which ensures this beast will arrive healthy. [H]ard|OCP put it through their torture tests and found that while this PSU passed all the tests, it didn’t score exceptionally well. In the end, as the cheapest 1000W PSU top pass their tests, they consider it a decent buy.
