Ouch, something was DEFINITELY going on here with these results as both the AMD dual-GPU options had significant problems. After our testing was complete (and we already left for out of town) AMD supposedly sent out a fixed profile for F1 2010 (which should be noted that it was a AMD sponsored title at release and this STILL happened) that fixes this issue. We’ll be retesting again later in the week.






If you want a good estimate of what performance of the HD 6990 4GB card will look like, I would wager it will be only slightly ahead of what we are seeing here from the pair of HD 6950s in CrossFire mode, pulling out ahead of the NVIDIA pack.
