Flash, Blu-ray and HTML 5 Testing
Flash 10.1 Video Playback
Ah, now here are seeing some GREAT improvement in the progression of software since our initial test. The MSI E350IA-E45 was able to playback our favorite 1080p bunny video with an impressively low CPU utilization of 24.1%. This is due the update to Flash 10.2 and using the latest 11.2 AMD graphics drivers. We should note that really here the performance on ALL platforms would have improved though we didn’t have access to all to re-test. Either way, this shows us that trend is definitely DOWN for Flash CPU utilization across all systems.
Blu-ray Video Playback
All
of the systems played back the Blu-ray discs without much complaint
though the CPU utilization was obviously higher in our D510
configuration leaving you less room for background processes or doing
other tasks.
HTML5 Fish Demo
It looks some of that same driver update magic is at work here as well with the MSI E350 motherboard improving performance pretty dramatically.
HTML5 Webvizbench Demo
This test again puts the Intel CULV+ION and the AMD APU platform at parity but leaves the Atom D510 in the dust.

Yes. And I removed the cpu fan.
I think MSI included one for some liability/warranty reason.
The board never gets hot enough to need a fan.
With a pico psu my system is dead silent.
Don’t expect to game with it. It’s a good Windows Media Server / NAS box.
