Metro 2033
Metro 2033 (DirectX 11)
The latest addition to our gaming benchmark suite, Metro 2033 is one of the best looking PC games in years. By utilizing some advanced DX11 features as well as impressively high-quality shading routines this title pushes our graphics in way we have seen since the first days of Crysis.
We ran Metro 2033 with Advance DOF disabled because it brought all of the cards but the GTX 480 to an unplayable state.
The GTX 590 comes out swinging taking a slight lead at the 1680×1050 resolution but starts to falter a bit as the resolution creeps up to the 2560×1600 realm where it finds itself behind the HD 6990 by 11% or so. Compared to the GTX 580 single GPU option the GTX 590 is 42% faster.
The pair of GTX 580s in SLI are definitely the fastest combined solution in our suite today and maybe even more interesting is the fact that we are seeing the GTX 570 SLI option staying right with the HD 6990.

LooooolZZZ, Every 1 knows
LooooolZZZ, Every 1 knows HD6990 is Better, the only thing that gtx has over 6990 is quitter fan, but has serious issues with overheating n power consumption, also HD6990 is longer a bit (12″), but come on, who cares about these stuff over performance??!, and I am wondering why nvidia keep making ads while AMD is just gave the hd6990 with simple packet, while nvidia’s packs r really fancy ones, think about it 😉
