Results: LOTRO
While WoW has only just recently become an official DX11 title, Lord of the Rings Online was first on the scene with DX11 support. Plus it just looks a whole lot better than WoW. A manual runthrough in the beginning area was recorded by FRAPS. All settings were pushed to maximum quality with 4X AA and 16X AF enabled.
All of the AMD cards hold a distinct lead over the GTX 480, with the R6970 coming out well on top at every resolution.

Price would be the big factor. Get nearly the same performance for $100 cheaper.
Hopefully I can get in the N580GTX Lightning in and see how hot that puppy gets with the Twin Frozr III.
Any idea what might happen to
Any idea what might happen to the frame rates if this card was matched with a Sandy Bridge i5-2400 rather than the hex core AMD? I know in some titles it wouldn’t make much of a difference but in titles like Metro 2033, Dawn of War II and Starcraft II it might help the GPU stretch its legs.
