Testing Configuration and Benchmarks Used
We put MSI’s P67A-GD80 on a crash course against the P67A-GD65, and ASRock’s Fatality P67 Professional. All three of these P67 boards are between the mid-range and high-end categories of the P67 class and should provide adequate competition in our gauntlet of benchmarks.

Our 64-bit test bench for the LGA 1155 Sandy Bridge processors includes 4GBs of dual-channel DDR3 1600 memory, an XFX Radeon HD 5770 512MB graphics card, and a Western Digital Raptor 150GB SATA hard drive for storage. This configuration is based off a typical mid-range users LGA 1155 system and focuses on evaluating the motherboard’s capabilities and less on the rest of the hardware components.

Great review.. I’ve been debating on the different boards and I think for my first high-end build I’m going with the GD80.
I’m surprised you guys are
I’m surprised you guys are just now getting around to reviewing this board especially when the Z68 version costs just a little bit more.
The unique thing about this board is it has 10 USB 3.0 ports, which I don’t think any other motherboard has quite so many.
