Don’t worry about the price.
Don’t worry about the price. The older ssd will drop prices which is more than fast for most people. What I’m looking for is a breakthrough in flash. If you have not notice ram is getting cheaper. Ram and Flash is not the same, but they share some technologies. Hands down ram is faster than ssds. By DDR4 or 5 ram should be more stable with lower power draws. This is key because when ram loses power is does not lose data autocratically. Instead is degrades over time, unless the MOBO wipes the ram in post. We have ECC ram which is sad, because is a temp fix to the problem of data loss. We all are talking about data integrity with storage, but when it hits the ram it has the highest chances of corruption. HDD = slow, but reliable in longevity. SSD = Fast, but has problems with stability. RAM = blazing fast, will out last all others, but has changes of data corruption, and short time data storage even when powered.
