Vendor Roundup: Psyko Audio, FSP, Alienware, Diamond, Coolermaster

This year, the exhibition hall featured several large booths from id Software and Alienware. Other vendors like FSP, Diamond, InWin, Psyko Audio, Gunnar, and Plantronics were on hand with interactive booths for Quakecon participants to test their latest products. Psyko Audio had their line of Carbon and Krypton gaming headphones available. These headphones include five individual speakers in the headset to create a true 5.1 sound experience.

Alienware brought their black H1 Hummer and let gamers duke it out in daily Team Fortress 2, Quake Live, and Left 4 Dead 2 mini tournaments. Gamers were able to test out Alienware’s line of gaming desktop and laptop systems and enter a drawing for a chance to win an Alienware M14x laptop.

CoolerMaster was also on hand to showcase their latest gaming mice, PC cases, and wireless headphones. People were able to check out CoolerMaster’s CM Storm Sirus 5.1 gaming headphones and their CM Storm Spawn gaming mouse pictured above.

Diamond was the only graphics card vendor on hand and they showed off their newest AMD Radeon HD 6770, 6870, and 6970 video cards. They also had some of the retail boxes at their booth that gave people an overview of their entire line of AMD Radeon HD graphics cards.

FSP Group is a newcomer to Quakecon and they brought an arsenal of Aurum bronze and gold power supplies to educate gamers on their products and the importance of having clean and stable power in their gaming systems. In fact, the power supply pictured above is the first time the public has seen their latest Aurum Gold 1200W power supply that isn’t available in stores yet.

FSP Group also showcased a BoosterX5 450W supplementary power supply that fits into a standard 5.25" optical bay. This unique power supply is designed for gamers who need a little more juice for their SLI and Crossfire gaming systems. The BoosterX5 is available at Newegg.com for $84.99.
