Testing Configuration and Benchmarks Used
We matched up the ECS HDC-I against an ASRock A330ION and Zotac 9300-ITX WiFi motherboard to showcase some of the differences users will notice between Brazos, Atom/Ion, and legacy Intel Core 2 Duo-based mini ITX boards. The Zotac board has an NVidia 9300 GPU onboard, so it will be interesting to see the benchmarks results between these radically different integrated graphand chipsets. But, this comparison should provide us a good overview of the HDC-I’s capabilities and general performance features.

As for the anonymous comment on overclocking: if you are interested in that then you don’t get the point of a system like this. The point is to use low power and heat. If you want to overclock get a bigger board. The overclocking was thrown in just because it is usually thrown in to reviews on this site. From a floating point operations per second point of view these systems are a joke. The point is to use just enough electricity to get the media playing without dropping frames.

I bought the board because of this, but unfortunately, something must have gone wrong…
