Specifications and Packaging
The SilverStone Strider Gold 1200W power supply supports the ATX12V v2.3 and EPS12V standards and is rated for a combined, continuous output power of up to 1,200 watts at 40°C operating temperature. That’s important as some less reputable manufactures limit their power supply’s advertised capacity by specifying a lower operating temperature (25°C) in the fine print.
The Strider Gold 1200W PSU incorporates a single +12V output that can deliver up to 100A (1,200W). The PSU includes universal AC line input (automatically adjusts the AC line voltage) and active PFC, which makes the unit more environmentally friendly to the local power grid.

“Japanese Capacitors” is a sought-after feature? Is that some kind of commentary about USA sourced products? I’m old enough to remember when “Made in Japan” meant cheap junk.. have the tables turned so completely?

It’s as opposed to ‘made in China’. The U.S. gave up its capacitor and electronics production facilities to other countries long ago. We barely have microprocessor fabrication capabilities now.
If you buy from Japan, you’ll know your parts were assembled by an adult who is working consentually and not as part of a labor camp. China, not so much.
