For the latest Batman title, the new HD 7970 comes in 16.5% faster than the GTX 580 at 1920×1080 and 18% faster at 2560×1600, a good overall showing.  When comparing it to the Cayman-based HD 6970, the new GPU from AMD is 31% and 38% faster respectively.  And while the EVGA GTX 560 Ti 2Win card is close to keeping up with the HD 7970 in terms of the average frame rate, one of the downfalls of multi-GPU solutions is lower minimum frame rates, which it is guilty of here.
