Here is our testing run through the game, for your reference.
While at 1680×1050 the NVIDIA GTXC 580 gets the better of the new Radeon HD 7950, as we climb up the resolution ladder the AMD offering does better. In fact, at 1920×1080 the two cards are basically tied in performance while the HD 7950 takes the ever so slight lead at 2560×1600. Compared to Radeon HD 7970 the new 1,792 stream processor card is about 20% slower and the HD 6970 is another 30% slower than that.
