My question would be will the 690 GTX outperform two 680 GTXs in SLI, and if so what about two 690s in quad SLI vs 4 680 GTXs in quad SLI? I think it is already quite clear it will out perform the 680s in terms of power consumption but what about raw power?
I’d also like to know what availability of this card is going to be like on launch and if 680 GTX availability will improve upon it’s launch but I’m betting thats a question that either cannot or will not be answered.

How is the Kepler
How is the Kepler architecture’s performance at non-graphical tasks such as Folding@Home and BitCoin compared to previous architectures? I know previous NVIDIA architectures didn’t perform as well at such tasks as AMD cards, so it would be interesting to hear if a new architecture changes anything.

Why is GTX690 priced at $999,
Why is GTX690 priced at $999, i.e. twice of GTX680? GTX580 was $499 as well, but dual-GF110 GTX590 was 699. I’d expect similar performance scaling, so how is the $300(compared to GTX590 launch price) higher price justified?

Can the GTX 590 get over 40 FPS in Battlefield 3 on Ultra with 3D Vision @ 1080P? So far, I have not found one Nvidia GPU that can do it.

Can you discuss the reasons
Can you discuss the reasons behind doing a more software based “SLI on a card” solution that is currently being used compared to do a more hardware based solution that would physically connect the two gpu’s in a way (I know this parallel isn’t super accurate) closer to how Intel merged two of its cpu’s onto a single die with its C2Q procs?
Would going with a more hardware focused route actually allow for better scaling since it would be closer to just adding more SMX ‘units’ to the gpu itself?
Is it because you like to make “‘Yo dawg, I heard you like pcie” jokes?

I would imagine the heat density would be very high. Harder to cool.

I wasn’t thinking of actually having them in the same die package, but maybe instead of using a pcie bus + sli to communicate, they could use a more dedicated/mission specific hardware bus to connect the two to more directly share hardware resources. Which would still allow them to still use two separate die packages. Of course, closer = faster.
Going back to the C2Q analogy, it would be like if the FSB could also link two separately packaged C2D’s.
Many have found the 560/560ti
Many have found the 560/560ti very good for streaming games(although lowering settings on newer graphic intensive games because of play-ability) on twitch.tv/own3d how much better is the 690 for such applications? And which non flagship sku’s in the 6xx series be in the same range of output for the purpose of streaming. Maybe more specifically what multimedia features should be looked at on the 690 and 6xx series when considering for this application considering upload speed and cpu are not barriers. What can we expect from the GK110 cards? How will they compare to the GK104 cards? Rough Release period? You Probably cannot comment on any of these questions but I’m in the progress of upgrading graphics and wanted to know how much better the GK110 will be compared to GK104.

What was your favorite part in helping to design the Gtx 690 vs. the Gtx 590?
1) What are the chief
1) What are the chief benefits over the GTX680 with this card over getting two GTX680s if you already have a PSU and MOBO capable of giving you that capability?
2) Why is the GTX690 $300 more then the GTX590? Given the lack of having to double most components it seems excessive. I would have expected a 4GB frame buffer per chip at that large a premium.
3) I wasn’t worried about this on the GTX680 but… What is the sample to sample variation Nvidia is expecting given there are two GK104 chips under that very nice cooler in regards to GPU Boost?
4) What kind of scaling difference can we expect between getting two GTX680s and a GTX690?
5) With the GTX690s using two GK104 chips can we expect better availability of GTX6xx cards in the immediate future?
