Every once in a while take an opportunity to learn about YOU, our faithful fans of PC Perspective. Today is one of those days as we have setup a small survey to help point us in the right direction for the future of the website. We can learn a lot from your help with this:
- We learn about you.
- We learn what you want to read on PC Perspective.
- We learn what you don’t want to read on PC Perspective.
- We learn what you want to see as the future of PC Perspective.
As you can see, YOU have a lot of power over what is going to happen here, so wield it wisely. If you write in the comments section that we should fire Josh then we’ll probably do it probably not do it.
Other than the obviously great feelings you’ll receive from helping out your friends at PC Perspective, we decided that to entice you to spend the 5 minutes on the survey that it will require we are going to offer up a handful of prizes as well!
1 x Corsair Vengeance C70 Military Green Chassis
1 x Gigabyte Z77 G1.Sniper M3 Motherboard
All you have to do to win one of these great prizes is:
- Fill out our survey.
- Wait for us to pick you as a winner.
Man, we pride ourselves on making our contests and sweepstakes easy, but this is ridiculous! The competition is open to ALL people around the world though you can ONLY enter one time! The survey will run through the 8th of June, so get your entries in!
Good luck and thank you so much for being a part of PC Perspective!
Continue on to the survey for your chance to win and support PC Perspective while doing it!
Fill out the survey and show
Fill out the survey and show your love for the folks at PC Per and Win Stuff!
Thanks!
Thanks!

No @ firing Josh… I’ve enjoyed his partially inebriated humour in the podcasts.
Also, I noted in my response for the survey about the favicon for the site being the drupal logo, and has been for several months… I’d like to bring it up here, just incase it’s overlooked in my survey comment.

Changing it from a local relative address to its global address would solve it.

Don’t fire anyone just get colleen back from time to time just to see how she going.
I’m pretty sure the PCPer
I’m pretty sure the PCPer crew dislike Colleen. After leaving twit.tv, she came on the podcast and was brutalized/ignored so she dropped off and has never returned.
I keep getting validation
I keep getting validation error when I try to submit my survey. Any ideas on this?

Putting something other than
Putting something other than an email address in that field maybe?
I’d note that you acknowledge
I’d note that you acknowledge other regions but the component resellers are all American and there is no “other” or fill in available. I’m Canadian and check memoryexpress and NCIX generally and I know there are some Canadian versions of some of the sites such as newegg, tigerdirect, and amazon but they generally pale in comparison to their US counterparts.
EDIT: Was NCIX there yesterday when I filled in the survey? If so I totally missed it.
It certainly was. 😛
It certainly was. 😛
Agree on the resellers most
Agree on the resellers most of the companies listed don’t even ship to Sweden so it really needs a other option.
No Canada Computers option
No Canada Computers option either. Newegg is good, but not the best.

I absolutely REFUSE to
I absolutely REFUSE to participate in data-mining surveys. On the other hand, I’ll make an exception for you guys. Just promise me you’re not going to be reselling this to someone else and dumping it back into the whole data-mining system. Keep it for yourselves and we’re good.
I am only using your email
I am only using your email address to contact you if you win a prize. Nothing more!
I just got this thing about
I just got this thing about enlargement. Are you SURE that isn’t you?! 😛
Oh – also – if I win, just give my stuff to someone else. I don’t actually need anything. But glad to help with an opinion or two to guide the site. A worthy cause.
Don’t worry, the email
Don’t worry, the email addresses are only to contact prize winners. We hate spam even more than the readers I bet 😉

totally kidding!
I know the winners will
I know the winners will probably be picked randomly, but I’d like to take this opportunity to point out that my system is currently running with a spinning disk harddrive (!). As in…not an SSD. It’s currently SSD-less. Purely mechanical (and somewhat electrical).
And to the nay-sayers who think it would be a waste to put a Vertex 4 in a system that doesn’t support SATA-600…I FLING POO AT YOU!
hehehe, best of luck in
hehehe, best of luck in winning that SSD man, they make a huge difference in general system performance. Adding an SSD was the biggest performance jump I’ve ever gotten out of a single upgrade!
i’m on the same boat, i’m
i’m on the same boat, i’m running a relatively high end system with a 7950 and overclocked 2500k. never played with a ssd before. yet, i feel like i,m missing out on a lot of my systems potential.

If you fire Josh I’ll be forced to stop listening to the podcast! And Josh will be forced to the streets when he’s jobless and he’ll have to resort to *other* ways of making money just to get by.

I love you guys and the work that you do. Always willing to give a survey for information (Prizes never hurt either ^^)!
Always positive to get on the site and see this after a horrible defeat at nertz.
I wish I could’ve provided
I wish I could’ve provided better information on the survey. I usually buy the best components I can afford and then hold out until they fry (or become too outdated). Right now I’m really interested in laptops. After I buy it, I’ll probably just skim laptop news/reviews until I want/need to buy a new one.

Send me the e-mail! tell me i won the price! thank you!
Don’t fire Josh just make him
Don’t fire Josh just make him “part time” and cut back his hours until he just doesn’t show up anymore. Then all the unemployment benefits he has been paying he will never be able to collect because he was part time and he quit. A win for you and a win for tax payers. Or just lock him away like you did to Allen.
